Could you pay less for coverage?
Many people who buy their own insurance qualify for a premium tax credit that lowers their monthly premium. The amount depends on your estimated household income, household size, age and where you live. Some people with lower incomes also qualify for extra savings on deductibles and copays with a Silver plan.
We help you estimate your income correctly, compare plans side by side, and understand what you would pay in premiums and out of pocket. Your eligibility and final costs are determined by the Marketplace.

Common questions
Who can buy an ACA Marketplace plan?
Most U.S. citizens and lawfully present residents who live in the state, are not in prison, and are not enrolled in Medicare can shop on the Marketplace.
How do I know if I qualify for savings?
Savings (premium tax credits and, for some Silver plans, cost-sharing reductions) depend mainly on your expected household income for the year and your household size. Our agent can help you estimate this, and the Marketplace makes the final determination.
When can I enroll?
Open Enrollment for 2027 coverage runs November 1, 2026 to January 15, 2027 in states that use HealthCare.gov, including Florida and Texas. Enroll by December 15 for coverage that starts January 1. Outside Open Enrollment you need a qualifying life event, such as losing other coverage, moving, marriage or a new baby.
What does an ACA plan cover?
All Marketplace plans cover the 10 essential health benefits, including doctor visits, hospital care, emergency services, prescription drugs, maternity care, mental health care and preventive care. Plans cannot deny you or charge you more because of a preexisting condition.
